All those defending him, what if he pulled down the American flag next to his podium and urinated on it.

That would just be symbolism, not policy.

But would it be an indication of what his policy is going to be? What he values? What he disdains? Who is will seek to please?

Or what if he had a political mentor who was photographed stepping on the American flag? What would that indicate?
