Unfortunately the only way they’re leaving that family is by choice. Hell some of them may even want to leave but may not feel they have anywhere they can go. Someone on here was mentioning that one of the sisters wanted to move to New York and Jim Bob forbade it and then I think she said D.C or something and they were willing to allow that if Josh moved in with her and she immediately changed her mind.

The road to recovery is full of hurdles for them. Accepting the facts that one’s brother attacked, and one’s parents were more concerned about protecting the brother then their daughters… it means a good self-opinion might require rejection of their entire family if no sisters will come with. It’s a hard road. Can be very lonely.
