I think that self entitlement is why Rubio has flopped. I’ve felt the establishment while many were lining up their bets on him wasn’t totally sold. I think Rubio’s probably played himself out of a chance to be on the ticket this year if ever. I remember it was assumed that Romney would pick him and he chose Ryan. Perhaps his guys found something on Rubio that they thought would really screw them. I mean Ryan did have the obnoxious Ayn Rand love for sure but nothing that stank the Romney campaign. Ryan didn’t sink Camp Romney like Palin did Camp McCain. I don’t think he helped mind you but I don’t think Ryan was a huge liability for Romney.

True, Ryan merely reinforced the Romney message that was all about serving the interests of the 1% and that half the country were just parasites.
