We don’t necessarily need them to vote for liberals or even democrats. I suspect Republican primary challengers who are opposed to Trump and would support investigations and impeachment would do the trick

One doesn’t need to convince Republicans to vote for Democrats (though if they do, that’s fine). All they have to do is choose not to vote because they think their own party is corrupted.

That is a much easier bar to clear.
