White mediocrity is the biggest driver of modern “conservatism.” Generations of white men raised on the idea that melanin-deficiency is a ticket to the middle class. Now they’re finding themselves competing on a level playing field and it’s driving them nuts many of them simply can’t.

That’s what drives this; they’ve been driven mad with resentment. They’re unable to compete on a level playing field.

And they sneer about “special snowflakes”……….they need to take a good long look in the mirror.
