Former Gov. Huckabee is comparing President Obama to Neville Chamberlain (that PM tends to get a lot of undeserved negative shade from conservatives)?

As I recall, President Obama tirelessly worked to rebuild our alliances and standing in the world after the last disastrous Republican presidency.

Trump praising Putin and tearing through our allies certainly doesn’t come close to Neville Chamberlain diplomacy. Trump is acting much more like Neville Chamberlain would have if he was an ally of Hitler. At no point in Prime Minister Chamberlain’s office did he support Hitler’s regime.

It’s so bizarre to me that the Republicans are still falling over themselves to treat Trump like America’s Kim Jong Un. Do they really think tying themselves so closely to such an incredibly unpopular figure is going to pay off electorally? Do they think he’ll bestow riches on the biggest sycophants?
