Which frankly is a psychological thing with conservatism. Liberals are more flexible to that because by ideological nature, we are far more open to admitting past ideological wrongs.

Humans, by and large, have trouble admitting they’re wrong. Liberals are more likely, but, right now, when a lot of us are wrong, we’re corrected by people on our side, which makes it easier. The Right, right now, is an echo chamber, meaning a large number on the right won’t even believe they could be wrong, and being told by someone outside their tribe just won’t get through.
