South Korea has tested a higher percentage of their population than any other populous nation (the latter needed to be said because places like the Faroe Islands are going all out to test.)

South Korea moved their new case growth from exponential to linear fairly early, around March 7th.

Nevertheless, the linear growth in total cases since then, with daily additions around 100 per day, has resulted in nearly a fourth of all cases coming during the linear growth stage.

Furthermore, half of all deaths have occurred the past 12 days or so.

Their total active cases have been declining linearly since about March 15th. But with the continual addition of cases daily, the total active cases will not hit zero, but soon stabilize near 2k.

And then… if they lift their own lockdowns and social distancing, there will be a second wave.

This is a long haul, all the way through 2020. Sorry that this is not what we want to hear, but this is a slog that will be around for quite some time.
