re: #80 recusancy

I’m sorry but this place was pretty radical then. I applaud the change but that doesn’t rewrite the history of this place.

This place was opinionated but very different than the other sites.

There were always smart people here- more than elsewhere- and notwithstanding the opinions, there were always good exchanges to be had, every day.

A lot of the people from back then are here today and that is what distinguishes this place from everywhere else.
