That might be a mistake. The right-wing nut jobs have done well for themselves by being relentless. They can create a controversy out of nothing at all (e.g., Benghazi), so trying to avoid a RW stink bomb can easily amount to pre-emptive surrender (e.g., large chunks of Obama’s first term).
