You heard me right. Yes, a large majority of Palestinians want peace. It is a violent minority that wishes to continue the armed conflict. No, you cannot force the armed Palestinians to disarm with military action. I don’t believe those statements are in conflict with one another.

You can’t win terrorist wars with invasions. If the U.S. hasn’t proven this in Iraq I don’t know what will. There is simply no way to root terrorist individuals out of a population with military force. Unless you wish to create 2 new terrorists for each one you kill.

Doesn’t anyone understand what Dr. Cordell is saying. he is saying that it’s only a small radical element of Palestinians what want to destroy Israel.

Just because this small minority is capable of hijacking any and all peace processes, just because this small minority will never stop terrorizing Israel and just because this small minority rules, doesn’t mean that Israel should try to get rid of this small minority.

If Israel keeps trying to protect itself, before you know it, they will have created twice as many Palestinians who want to destroy Israel.

Israel better stop while they are ahead.
