Being Jewish I have my own theory on this one. What do you think is the reason?

Being Jewish, we know it was the Republicans in the forties who were all for letting Hitler have Europe.

Being Jewish, I know that in my home town the center of the local GOP is still a country club where Jews are not welcome.

Being Jewish, there is an obligation to care for the poor and the weak, and
the GOP does not usually come off as particularly caring of them.

Being Jewish there is a cultural drive to support and demand education. Don’t even get me started on the GOP’s record on education or anti-science.

Being Jewish there is a commandment to take care of the environment. We are literally seen as a gardener. Don’t even get me started on the GOP’s record with the EPA.

Being Jewish means you really like the establishment clause because you really get tired of people constantly trying to tell you to not be Jewish. Don’t even get me started about the GOP’s problems with understanding that clause.

The inroad that the GOP made with the Jewish community is over believing that Israel needs and deserves our support.

The tea party stuff will drive that away. It will do it, because being Jewish, we will sympathize more with the black people being targeted by the racism than we will with the racists.
