I am SO going to wind up in the case of #5. I have a soft spot for felines.

The cats keep showing up
Starving, bony, can’t even stand up, fur missing, cuts all over - we feel sorry for the cats and decide to feed them and suddenly -miraculous recovery!

Here’s the latest.
He showed up last summer - pitiful, weak, just a bag ‘o bones, patches of fur missing - now - healthy as can be.
