I suspect that it will go the way Loving v. Virginia will, leave state to get married, marriage not valid in home state. It’s interesting that the rate of acceptance for SSM and the rate at which it is becoming accepted by people very closely matches the progression over time on Interracial marriage, just a lot faster.

That’s my prediction as well; that eventually, SSM will be settled along the lines of Loving v. Virginia.
