Feminism is not a state of mind or politics. It’s a process, much like the abolition of slavery was a process. It takes a long time for positive social change to occur, centuries. Usually we just have to wait for the ideologues to die.

I’m confident that when I’m a ripe old man the process of feminism is to the point where women get paid equally, etc. etc.

The concept of anyone being a “ripe old man” is worrisome. Living to a ripe old age is a good thing, however. ;)
