The media? They’re totally invested in the spectacle of a Trump nomination now, imagine how much they’re gonna be invested in a Trump presidency? And don’t look to people who spent the 90s engaged in “The Great Penis Hunt”* to come to Hillary’s aid in tearing down the guy they want to see in the White House.

A good horse race is one thing. A President who wants to muzzle the press with stronger libel laws is another issue.

But I do not see the media as being able to look past its short-term interests and quarterly bottom line.
