I feel you.
Unfortunately, DirecTV NOW has no direct phone support, only a chat based team. I think that’s changing but I don’t know when.
The standard DirecTV reps, who do phone support for that service are pretty useless when it comes to DTV Now.
There aren’t many easy ways to escalate an issue with AT&T but I do know if you file a BBB or FCC complaint they have a special team that will contact you to try and work things out.
