re: #77 thecommodore

He spent a decade whipping the Faux informed into a frenzy about how Obama was apologizing to the world, undermining US power, and stood by while the GOP obstructed everything Obama did in the name of party.

Guess that Fox going completely Russia agitprop was a bridge too far?

He helped enable a climate that made Russia palatable to the GOP and weaponized Fox viewers by putting this stuff out there for years on end. Hannity was spewing nonsense for a decade about Obama, attacking everything from the suit color to choice of burger condiments all while ignoring that the GOP was violating comity and basic norms of Congressional operation. Or worse, the Fox talking heads approved of the blatant obstructionism because their racism and hate was barely contained.

Trump has seen all of this unleashed and now Peters is jumping ship.

Had Peters been a good analyst, he would have called out Trump and Trumpworld when he entered the race. Or lied about his Russia connections, or when he equated Nazis with the people protesting them.

Fox continues standing by Trump no matter what, and that includes Fox Business, which misinforms their viewers almost as badly as the regular network does.

Straight news? Everything is done with a pro Trump/pro GOP slant, and that’s why Hannity gets eyeballs when the regular news doesn’t.

Peters didn’t jump ship when Hannity was spewing conspiracy theories about Seth Rich.

It took until now.

I’m not impressed.
