ETA: Lavery alludes in this article to the incident where he went to his father and told him he could provide help for the person in his father’s congregation who was attracted to children. However, John Ortberg refused, because Daniel Lavery is transgender and thus everything he says is wrong. ///sarcasm, heavy sarcasm
