In those dark, 3 am moments when things seem their worst, I’ve considered doing something similar as a protest against our use of torture. Then I sleep it off. You need to be a little more flamboyant than that these days to break through into the national news cycle and have any kind of chance of making an impact.

I couldn’t do it. Someone would walk by smelling of bacon from breakfast and immediately I would be running to the nearest diner.
