One of the nice things about my shul is that after Saturday morning services they have a kiddish lunch. Over in one corner they have a table set up with several different kinds of wine or hard liquor. My wife and I typically have a shot or two of whiskey. The younger of our two rabbis leads the blessing over the hootch.
