Free college education? I’m all for that. How do you pay for the professors and academic institutions though.

College education is essentially free in several European countries, and it used to be essentially free in (parts of) the US as well. It’s definitely possible via state support.

Trillion dollars on infrastructure upgrades/improvement - not sure about the dollar amount, but infrastructure upgrades/improvements would not only be a jobs motivator, but would have long lasting effect on economy decades down the line (think canals in late 18th century, railroad construction during 19th century, highways/electrification in 20th).

A whole lot of the infrastructure built at the turn of the last century needs to be replaced/upgraded/maintained in the current century. That’s a whole lot of jobs.

So what we’re saying is: some of the demands are reasonable, and some are not.
