I read them up to a certain point. And then realized that every one was a conservative nut “wet dream” novel where one of the pet boogeymen try to pull something, seem to be winning, and then get their comeuppance from right-thinking heroes and superior American technology and training. Every single one. And often a few weak sister not-patriotic-enough US politicians get it as well.

Yes, that started becoming obvious after awhile.
