So Beshear spent weeks making excuses for why he couldn’t do anything, including hauling the legislature back in to change the law, to address Davis’ refusal to obey the law. But Bevin has no compunction about getting her off the hook via EO, which the legislature is likely not to raise much of a fuss about.

I can think of no more stark contrast between the parties right now. And, unlike most examples, this is not an inspiring one.

So Kim Davis thinks her G-d who hates the gay is gonna be OK with her as long as her name isn’t on the form granting the gay the right to marry?

This is the kind of stuff that just drove me batty in fundamentalism.

Whatevs. Just follow the law, Kim.
