Another interesting tidbit is at the end of the article:
As he concluded the interview, Tapper noted that Sanders’ supporters had accused Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz of favoring Clinton.

“Let me also say this,” Sanders remarked. “In all due respect to the current chairperson, if elected president, she would not be reappointed to be chair of the DNC.

Apparently Bernie doesn’t know that the position is not appointed.

I am wondering if the Sanders campaign in this cycle is making the Democratic Party leadership think that they made their process so open its brain fell out. And given that the superdelegates *are* essentially the Democratic Party leadership I do not think they are going away anytime soon. Especially since they essentially represent those that did the “smoky room” nomination process that was in place prior to the popular vote primary system.
