It’s Nixon redux.

Nixon was ultimately undone because Republicans turned against him. The lesson the GOP has taken from the Watergate era is to train an entire generation of Republicans to put party above country.

The only way the GOP turns on Trump is if they become convinced that Trump is “bad for the GOP brand”.
