Actually we have no clue on how close the election would have been if Comey hadn’t sent the letter. It is possible that it could have been a Clinton blowout.

That said, I know of BernieBros who were poisoned well before the election. Some of that was due to Wikileaks; some to Bernie. There were many deliberately bad actors out to destroy her and, as others pointed out, the MSM was a willing partner in damaging her.

That’s the momentum thing I was talking about. Absent the Comey letter, with Clinton ahead 5-6% nationally and Trump flailing, there might have been general movement to Clinton - the bandwagon effect. Instead, the letter reminded people of their misgivings about her.
