I think it’s just a combination of signature verification and “not being enormous pedantic assholes about it.”

It’s that last part that’s crucial and basically impossible to legislate.

Signature matching is also ageist and ableist as fuck. I mean, how do you properly make sure that people who have severe arthritis or neuromuscular conditions are treated fairly?
