I am of the opinion that Trump bears a great deal of moral responsibility for the shootings and that has to translate into political responsibility in the eyes of voters in the next elections.

He mentions suicide. How many of those are by firearm? That is an NRA talking point to minimise shootings by classifying suicide by firearm as somehow separate from other firearms deaths.
