The problem is everyone has access to more information than ever before. We’re accessing information much faster than we absorb and understand it. My FB isn’t politics free. I think most people know I’m pretty liberal and hate Trump but some people just post article after article and meme after meme. There’s not discussion because by the time you’ve thought out a reply to your friend or family member posting something bonkers they’ve already posted something else and you just say fuck it and shrug.
