Just paged this, because I was thumbing through my passport, and I started reading the little quotes that are at the top of the Visa pages, from prominent Americans.

It choked me up. Just to be able to think, that once America was not the joke of the world, was not run by ignorant brutal men who only want to beat and subjugate and enslave and steal. I paged this, with all the quotes from the pages of our passports for you to read, and to mourn over.

I’ve been listening to Carl Sandberg’s Lincoln biography. It really makes me sad because we lost so much when we elected Trump. It’s going to take time to heal.
