The national polls were actually REALLY GOOD.

The state polls were not balanced right, but if you go back and look you see they were really squishy in the post-Comey mess. “shy Trump voter” simply did not exist.

I spent the Sunday before the election writing a post at GOS about how the polls were better than Nate was claiming. I was so embarrassed that I never posted there again. But it took me a lot of arguing to make that case. This year, the only polls that look bad are the grossly biased ones. FL is getting close, but PA really is not. And what looks to be happening in turnout argues for polls to be undercounting Dems.

Appreciate that. Like I said, Politico needs their Magic Balance Fairy fix, so grain of salt and what not.

I can sort of vouch for the PA stuff. One of Philly’s western counties, Montgomery, tends to lean GOP and they seem to have buyer’s remorse. I’m not sure about Bucks County, which is north of the city. It’s pretty MAGAty and I don’t see that changing, but who knows?
