The UK has approved the use of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for general inoculation of the population. The Scottish First Minister says she expects the first vaccinations in Scotland in six days time.

At the MIT class yesterday they mentioned that scientists in Scotland were instrumental in doing some of the virus classification work (it was on therapeutics, but beyond that, I didn’t understand enough to explain). It was impressive work.
