Yes, but he’s a crooked Chicago pol with dreams of being something bigger. That’s the difference.

On the plus side, since the post of Eternal Ruler of the Universe (which he is apparently convinced is his “true destiny”) isn’t likely to be available in the foreseeable future, his efforts to attain it will not only come to naught, at some point they will convince even his supporters that, as was once said of a certain Hollywood star, “there’s no ‘there’, there.”
