I work retail, my job is to help customers. I smile and greet every customer regardless of how they are dressed or what language they speak. Immigrant customers of all nationalities sometimes seem surprised that a white person would be so genuinely friendly.

WTF? It’s not only my jobs, it’s my personality.

There is one mother and daughter who shop regularly (in full robes, only faces showing) that are the most wonderful people. I’d never have had the opportunity of knowing that if I hadn’t: a-done my job and b-been sincere.

IMHO,The bigots are the ones losing-out.

I’ve said it before but I’ve been extremely fortunate to grow up in a diverse area with people of many backgrounds and my university is pretty diverse too. Makes me glad I chose George Mason over James Madison for that reason even if JMU’s parties are better heh.
