In 1972 he was the ONLY San Francisco “journalist” who dared write the truth about Rev. Jim Jones which was very dangerous physically and to his career. If he was listened to in 1972, over 900 people would not have been killed in Jonestown six years later.
In 1982, he was the ONLY “journalist” who asked White Spokesman Larry Speakes about AIDS and the whole room laughed at him then too.
This man should have a J-school named after him.
