Can’t quote you names or models, haven’t shopped seriously, just that any old $200 HT/receiver these days is so feature-filled, accurate, and powerful, the idea that anyone even offers a $2000 version (and most of the major brands do!) is humorous.

Just every few months I’ll wander into a Ken Crane’s or similar place, listen to this system and that, check the prices, roll my eyes, and spend another few months with my variously small and/or decrepit systems.
