That’s what’s so very bothersome, these folks are at the top of the Tea Party ladder to begin with. There shouldn’t have to be any backlash before they are expelled.

In a way, I’m seeing this as a cleansing of what was already there. This shit didn’t arise out of a void, it was already there simmering. By feeling emboldened by their leadership’s coded “Real America” schtick, these attitudes are being openly expressed revealing them for what they are. Public shaming and exacting a price for it will hopefully have a positive result ultimately. We’re clearly seeing the increased acceptance or race, sexual preference, etc. in our younger demographics. I think this helps.
