Mine was a Radio Shack special for $159.99, but I was proud of it. I think my first LP purchase was “Living in the Past” by Jethro Tull.

Mine came from a pawn shop, hence the mix and match approach. But damn, it had great sound. I did have Radio Shack speaker towers; I got the speaker cases and then replaced the subwoofers, mid range and tweeters. All ferric-oxide cooled speakers. I didn’t dare crank the volume up past 4, LOL.
