Connie Schultz and David Maranis (both Pulitzer Prize Authors/professors) are on the Brian Williams 11th Hour show and they are discussing the student movement.

Both are saying it is odd that the older generation (boomers) are the ones letting the students down since many were the youth protesters of their day.

Connie (being from Cleveland - The Plain Dealer writer) brought up Kent State and some of the same reactions from local Kent/Akron/Cleveland/Canton people to the protesters then and how there were letters to local papers as venomous as the Tweets we see today.

Maranis said the kids will do well because almost all good change protest are led by youth because they are basically pure in their intentions and unencumbered by the politics.
