I respect both Matt and Sarah so much for their work and perspectives.
I don’t know who is more right in this particular case.
And honestly I vacillate between both of these views generally with regard to our Democracy under fire. I understand both vantage points here. Both are probably necessary.
.@JaneMayerNYer @RonanFarrow with a bombshell story: four women accuse NY AG Eric Schneiderman of physical abuse. Devastating, excruciating read. https://t.co/clZkItsn0M

I’ve been wondering why Trump’s team seemed so unconcerned with potential NY state charges if they’re pardoned federally.
I’m guessing this is why. https://t.co/dtcuH6jesX— Sarah Kendzior (@sarahkendzior) May 7, 2018
Yeah that’s not how it works. Schneiderman’s investigations will not end if his career does. https://t.co/CN30jtphVG

Again, you may have noticed a lot of things are “not how it works”. Trump is still in office after confessing to crimes; other officials still there after flagrantly committing them. You seriously don’t think his team will manipulate this situation? My guess is they planned on it

I only hate it when people opt out or don’t speak of the fight ahead as if they are part of it or maintain unbalanced and extreme cynicism. Speaking of what the Dems need to do instead of what WE need to do or thinking that there’s nothing we can do when there is plenty, really gets my goat.
