So, the GOP’s defense of Trump is basically, “Well sure, your Honor, I went into that bank with my .357 loaded and cocked, and yeah, I stuck it in the teller’s face, and I admit, I accidentally did shoot that innocent screaming lady and her two kids, but I didn’t get away with any money, so you see your Honor, I’m totally 100% innocent.”
