That is a good question. Yes. Great inequities within any society is the most significant driver of social upheaval. However the Federal government has been actively addressing this since the 1930’s and yet the gap continues to grow. So, no I don’t believe what we have done in the past is working. It is also a complex issue interwoven with family, race, innate ability, gender, and a host of other issues. We already have a graduated tax rate and still have significant debt. More of the same won’t work.
