Cornyn’s up to his usual tricks, declaring that the Senate should not speed the bill through and instead demands that it get debated and possibly amended if he sees fit to do so. Note this is a bill that passed the House 407-0, which means even the nutters on the other side of Congress weren’t crazy enough to fuck with furloughed workers back pay.

Am waiting for the point where a Senator decides to attach a defund/delay/repeal ACA amendment to this one.
