The real rain bomb is hitting San Antonio right now. The line is passing us and I’ve got about 1.25” in my rain gauge. Still, that’s 1400 gallons in my tanks, and I won’t have to use any of it for two or three weeks. Bonus!

The real question is how much runoff will reach the reservoirs. I’m hoping we’ll get +/- 100,000 acre feet. That’s a six-week to two month cushion before the Lower Colorado River River Authority declares a Stage 3 drought. We’ll see.

River River Authority?

I’ve got to lay off the Single Malt.
