The drawn-out nature of American elections is terrible for that reason. I might be haranguing the brow-beaten, but the industry it has created, the Luntzes who craft the message, the dickweeds that parrot them, and now the endless congaline of disgusting pundits who pick and parse, who leap to speculate on matters, entirely ignoring the substance of the debate in favour of manufacturing outrage or inflating the importance of candidates who ought to be screaming obscenities from a street corner…

Fuck the banks, it’s the media that has screwed up social and political dialogue. A population, destitute and angry, is better served by decent and objective news agencies than any common sense banking regulation passed tomorrow.
