These attacks in Turkey and Berlin are too close to he simply random. Especially with the Electoral College vote simultaneously.
Whatâs actually scary is that Trump still thinks that he can get away with private security as detail. That is an open invitation for wholesale sabotage, and if todayâs news about the Russian ambassador doesnât make him change his mind, then we could be in for something truly bigly ugly.
1. Random events often cluster and the human mind has a tendency to perceive gestalt patterns whether or not the underlying data is related.
2. Trump isnât replacing the Secret Service with his private security detail, heâs adding to it. His private goons will do things the SS would actively balk at, like investigating journalists and actively suppressing non-violent protest movements.
