I just find myself wondering everyday how the hell this country got here? I know we’ve always been flawed but it’s gotten a lot worse it seems to me. Now maybe for some, it’s always been like this to a degree.

We had many decades of stability and prosperity, but failed to use that time and money to educate the entire population. We just weren’t socialist enough to build a bridge to the 21st century for the majority of the people.
