I’ll be honest. I just felt so at peace when I was in Europe this summer. I didn’t have to constantly be reminded of him. And then as I got into Amsterdam, Charlottesville happened.

She Who Must Be Be Obeyed and I spend a lot of time in the UK in the spring. SHMBO’s sister lives north of London and is married to one of the founding members of Silly Wizard. He is a guitar geek and in the Scots Trad Hall of Fame. Collects and sells. He has had a recent hard-on for Kathy Wingert’s axes. He’s got three of them.

Sorry, got off track.

The spring 2017 trip was weird. Everyone up in Edinburgh wanted to know “What the hell happened with the election? Why didn’t Hillary win?”

What could I say?
