I can relate. There has never been a candidate who spoke to the issues of people with epilepsy either, even with a Supreme Court justice with epilepsy.

It’s kind of tough though: There are so many types of disablements or disorders that speaking to each would take up a candidate’s whole time.

I admit I am not terribly familiar with the issues someone with autism faces. That said, the idea of government-financed college (like it used to be) is not inherently bad to any particular group of disabled people. Proper enforcement of the ADA would help in that area.

Considering the disabled are much more likely to be in poverty, and generally (you can always find contrary anecdotes) higher education (technical or college) results in higher pay over your lifetime, reduced costs to pass the gatekeepers of colleges should improve access to those with autism, not ignore those people.

Your mileage may vary, as I know little about colleges or autism.
